This Sunday we will look at how to prepare our hearts for what God wants us to do. Not only will we be reading together, attending small groups together, and memorizing scripture together, we will also be praying together. I will share the prayer I am praying over New Hope Seattle and invite each of you to join me in this prayer as well. We will be looking at how to make the most of the short time we have on this earth. We will be answering three basic questions that each of us must face before embarking on our 40 Days of Purpose journey: What Does God Want? What Does It Take? And Why Should I Do It? Essentially we will get as much out of these 40 Days as we put into it!

It has nothing to do with the sensationalism of a Hollywood movie or a novel written with creative license. It has everything to do with the fact that Christ’s blood was spilt and caught and carried in the vessels of those who call Him Lord.
